Big Country

Steve, Thanks for coming through with the "Marcnifier". And thank you Piedmont angler for such a cool tool for my ice fishing arsenal! I used it tonight and wow, that thing is awesome. Makes it so much easier to sit in the chair and see everything on the Lx3. Went out on Grand tonight solo. Everything I have been hearing is true. The dead sea. Funny. A few weeks ago you could go out there on a weekend and there were people everywhere. Tonight and last night only a few party's fishing. I hope they had better luck than me. Oh well, it's close to home. I will be trying another spot I have not tried yet there with my daughter tomorrow. Hopefully she can hook something. Not even a snake northern today! BC

I might take you up on that Steve. Was out on Grand again today, only because it was so nice out. A big fat goose egg. A few people got into some slimers, but only one lost lure due to a sharp toothed critter. I will keep an eye on the forecast and maybe we could hook up. I haven't fished the point in the winter for around two years so I'm overdue. I will keep in touch. BC

Thanks BC. I was at Big Jig today and sold out the rest of the mag covers I had with me. Everybody that saw them immediately jumped at the offer, especially the guys that were wearing glassed or bifocals. coolgringrin

Back to production on another batch this week.

If anyone has questions on what they'll fit, email me.

Hey Guys, I'm wondering what the water temp on the St.Croix is. I Haven't herd anything, all I know is that Catfish become inactive after it drops below 60F. I want to know if they have already become inactive, you would think we would at least have until October.    One more inquire,  anyone one know about a nice carp lake north of the metro. Most people don't like fishing for common carp, but they are a great fall fish to catch when they Get 30+ plus pounds.

The frog bite will be soon when you see frogs moving hit the rum.

All right man I'll make sure to tell you how I do, I have also been looking at the sunrise river. The sunrise Looks like one of those rivers that all the local kids fished in the 80's, But then it got polluted and over fished. I'll Try the sunrise one of these days, I don't know what i'll catch,  Maybe it's like in the Simpsons with those Three eyed fish.    As for the rum river, I can't wait to fish that. I'll wait for a nice cold front when all those small mouth start to eat everything in site, They need the fat for winter. I'll make sure to tell you how it goes.
