Ten Mile lake-Hackensack

Does anyone ice fish on this lake? I spend a lot of time on it in the summer, but never winter.Just wondering

Nobody really goes out there in the winter. With the water depth and all of the springs the ice is very iffy. I have been out there in the dead of a good winter and seen open water in random spots. This year the main lake only froze 3 days before we got 12" of snow. It did not make much ice after that, even with the cold.

I would try Long Bay.

No good way to get on there. From the snowmobile trail there is hill you can go down, good luck getting the gear back up though.

Thanks, were in the bay on the south end and may spend some time up next weekend .Didn't know if it was worth fishing or travel somewhere else to wet a line.
