North End

Heading up to north end out of Barnacle's this weekend. Took Friday off seeing it's supposed to be so nice. Looking for any recent reports. I'm know it's slow. Will be mobile with portable and 4wheeler. Plan on moving lots to try and find fish. Plan to target top of flats in morning and evening and move to edges and off them during day, any other ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Try fishing away from the crowds 100 yards or more off the edge of the flats,"no mans land"you may be presently surprised!c63

Thanks Chris! Will I be able to travel around on a 4wheeler off the roads or should I bring a snowmobile?

I would bring your sled if thats a possibility, unless you have mat-trax on your wheeler a sled would be a much smarter option.

We found some action on shiners and spoons on a mudflat last weekend. Spoons got a few during the day saturday and then saturday after dark we had a few runs on our tip-ups up on the top edge of the flat. Sunday morning we again had fish running the top edge on our tip-ups. Fatheads didnt get a sniff for us.
