taking wife out

The yearly take the wife out fishing is coming up and wondering what side of the lake we should head out. I would like to get off the main roads if that is possible with a four wheel drive truck. I would also like to find some perch to keep her interested. Last year we went out of Twin Pines and hit 7 and 9 mile with very little success. There is a few flats in that area that I would like to hit that dont have plowed roads to. My main ? is can you get off the roads especially on the NW end. Thanks in advance for any help.

If I were you I would go out of Terrys. He is one mile south of the Blue Goose. He had roads all over the Flats deep and shallow.

The perch have been biting out of Lybacks pretty decent.(south end between Isle and Wahkon) They've got great roads all over that end of the lake. The perch are starting to bite pretty good on the north end as well. Barnacle's has some great roads to some nice spots as well. IMO- Terry's is the grumpiest folks on the entire lake!

Wilderness Warmth is a great wife/husband owned operation. they get it. Rent there, their sponsorship banner is at the top. click it and you will see they have very reasonable rates.

My buddy was out of lybacks last weekend and caught nothing.
