Deer Lake

Hello...has any one ever fished Deer Lake (next to Buffalo)? I was curious if it was worth the time. Any info would be appreciated...Thanks

I've fished it once, early ice. Drilled holes all over the lake, finally found a huge school of fish right in front of landing (go figure) and the school was gone after i caught one decent crappie out of it. Couldn't find another fish after that.

A few years ago I went out a couple times and got some nice crappies, but I haven't found em since.

Most of this winter, only 8-12 houses. I had better luck with the perch on pulaski. The 3-5" perch crazy I think I'll drive to lake Harriet in the cities, for those perch.

Catch alot more in 30 minutes, plus they are alot bigger.
