Just saw on the news this morning that backstrom was named to the Western Conference all star team. Dont know if he's starting though. He leads the league in shutouts this year with 5.

He has gone in the tank scoring-wise the last few weeks and I think that is why he was left off.( I know, so has everyone else except Nolan). I think he's the bomb but the drop off in scoring hurt his chances, for better or worse. The fact that we are only a few games over .500 didn't help matters, either...
