You're going to have a hard time getting anywhere with a 2 wheel drive vehicle other than perhaps one of the few maintained roads on Waska (which don't go towards the south end). I was out from Peter's Resort around New Years and fishing was slow. You'd manage a couple per day with the rattle lines down 24x7. Not worth the hassle for me.

I agree. There are no roads going to the south side and if you hit a snow bank and fall through it...you are stuck. 4WD you might be able to make it keeping your speed up. But I agree that it is not worth it.

They are catching some walleyes out from Lakeside and most are using sucker minnows. Morning bite I have heard has been good. That area would be better to get to.

I have a tractor at the store to help people on and off the lake...but I am not going to the south side of Minnewaska with it. smile

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like the Glenwood end may be the only option. What kind of depth out from Lakeside ?

Someone may have to start a fish house rental company for the south side of the lake and then maintain a road. Fees of course for the use of the road.

smile It's a big lake.

I love the south side as well and fish it extensively during the summer when everyone else is trying the north side. It would be great to try some of those same areas during the winter. If there was a public or private access on the south side, we could maybe maintain it and use it more. There are some fantastic crappie and sunfish areas over there! And some great walleyes as well on the shoulders and flats. Oh well. Enough dreaming.

Most are fishing the 14 to 16 ft. depths off the old road grade...west side of the grade. Suckers have been working well and the morning bite has been the best for some reason.

Stop in for a map if you would like. We knocked the ridge down at the Lakeside access and Mike Brown and others have been taking care of that road going straight out to the grade. Take a right at that access and that is the road we made out to Crappie Town.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

Two blocks south of the stop lights as you are going towards the Glenwood Beach.

Nice day today. Tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 11 but low winds...not too bad either. Sunday is supposed to be a high of around 20 with low winds again.

So much for the winter storm watch and severe weather. smile

This high front should get some fish biting. I have had some spear guys in reporting that today was really active and they think tomorrow is going to be even better.

Both Pelican and Minnewaska. I have not seen the spear guys from Amelia for awhile. Nothing big reported as of yet. A panfish buddy told me that he had about a 20 pounder come under his holes last week in 6 ft. of water on Reno..."like a big gator that just didn't seem to end" is what he said. smile

Yes, you can make good money at the casino, but I think that this is unstable earnings, and situational, if you play every day, you can get into very large debts. I was advised this casino - https://onlinecasinospill.no/ , I tried and made no mistake in choosing, there is a huge bonus system, constant promotions for any holidays and a bunch of different slots that only improve the game, also the probability of winning is quite high, I was able to earn a small amount of money, I advise you to try

Филипп 9:29 In order to avoid unplanned expenses, you need to immediately discuss all the nuances with the contractor. In fact, there are many options. But it still seems to me that it can be done independently, even bulky things with several people can be loaded and moved on by themselves

I agree with you, but not completely, because you can win once and bet a little more, that is, set aside 80% of the total amount, and then play for the remaining 20%, I think this is a good option, and in any case, a person will win

As far as I know, there are several companies in Boston that are engaged in full professional relocation, it takes a little time, but they take enough money, I saw a couple of ads on the Internet about such work, you can also find performers of this order there

For a long time I wanted to turn to a good programmer so that he would collect applications for mining for me, but I could not find it and abandoned this business, now this thought is returning. I came up with such an application that no one has, but no one can assemble it, everyone refuses. I looked at the site that you advise, quickly read it, this company made a good impression on me, I will carefully read it in the evening, then I will contact them and if they agree with my idea, I will order.

The creek  bite has been nothing short of awesome as we come to the end of Sep.... Some days are definitely better than others, but even the slow days plenty of fish can be caught if you put in a little time and effort.   3 and 4 inch z-man plastics as well as grub style plastics have been getting the job done for me again this week.  Also been using some number 5 shad raps just to change things up a bit... 😁
