Help needed...Chisago Lakes area

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I am in serious need for some info! I looking for some tips on finding Walleye's in the Chisago area. No need for your exact locations or anything like that but more like setups, different structures, certain lakes to focus on, etc. I grew up fishing on Lake of the Woods and I think I got a little spoiled. I need Walleyes (sunfish just aren't cuttin' it)!

Thanks!

Hun- Welcome to the area!!!!

All the lakes in the are have a population of walleye, but dont expect days like you did on LOW...

Depending on time of the year, walleyes will relate to weeds and or sand to rock transitions. Our area gets a very strong "Curly leaf Pond Weed" bloom early the the season, which dies off in July.. so weedline fish and ice fishing is dang near not happening. Big Marine would be the only one where you may find a weed walleye or two.. Or Green lake as well, but those are shallow fish and can be hard to find as its not a weed line, but more a weed flat...

Much of the Chisago lakes has quite a bit of rock, some shallow some deeper, Finding those small rock areas I think are key for winter walleye.

Green lake, and the Center lakes, seem to have the best population, but again, dont expect LOW, there is a reason people drive so far to get there!

Again, welcome to the area! Its a great place to live! hard to beat our community and schools!

During summer months, the lakes in the area are quite well known for bass. Not sure if you are a bass guy or not, but if you are, you will very much enjoy living in the area. If you have any children of a young age, they will most likely have to go through me at the Primary School... 8-)

Seen a lot of nice Bass coming out of the lakes lately. I sure hope they CPR them as some are dandies. What used to be a fairly quiet area has really seen a LOT of pressure lately!

True, Ole... You can inform people about catch and release, and just hope... it does help that Chisago is required Catch and Release.

We fished Thursday - Saturday. Couldn’t get any marks to bite on the west end so started east. Caught lots of 9-15” eyes on the mud side of the transition. Mostly crawlers for us on Thurs-Fri but bite changed to minnows on Saturday. Our rainbows ran small but had a few big chubs mixed in. Big chubs we’re best. No eyes on small suckers.  A jig and sucker or crawler on 9-14’ rocks got smallies going in several places. Rocky points coming off islands also produced smallies with tubes, deep jerkbaits and ned rigs on east end. Also landed a 45” ski on a crawler harness.

Hello. Another important factor to consider when looking for an writing service is the amount of work they can do. A company like https://payforwriting.com/pay-for-papers/  offers a wide variety of topics and has over sixteen writers who are experts in the subject matter. The service also offers proofreading and editing services. Prices start at , but they can get expensive quickly if deadlines are tight.

Hello. The first step is to read reviews written by customers. This way, you can determine if a service delivers on time and does not charge hidden fees. The paperwriter reviews should also state whether or not the company guarantees original work. Some of the most reliable review platforms include Trustpilot and SiteJabber. Moreover, many  writing services publish their customer reviews on their websites, some even in video format.

I also don’t really believe that you can earn online casinos. There you can play, put bets, win and more often lose money. In the casino for Norway, the same rules apply as for the rest of the casino. If you are lucky, you will win. But to earn money, it is unlikely.
