I was wondering if they have a good road out of their resort and if not is there a good plowed road close to their resort?

You would go out of Adrians. Very good road!

Curt: Adrians was the original owner of the land on Wheelers Point. As the sold off the parcels to others, they kept the landing where you drive on to the lake. Their homestead is south on 172 where the eagles flock, and they dump the fish remains daily. If you notice they have all of the land on the west side of 172 from the antique store to Wigmam and the land from Wigam's shore to the Wheelers Point Resort. Their landing is the only one in the area, besides Wigwam's small area, by their fish cleaning house, that is stable enough to use for an access. The DNR landing is subject to river movement. Adrians just had their 50th year in business, the first resort in the area. Kaz
------------------
KAZ

My grandparents, my dad and my uncles owned Wheeler's Point Resort in the late 40's. I have been ice fishing LOW for about 30 years. Back before bombadiers, every resort on LOW closed for the season when the freeze came. Adrians, being local people, plowed the road and moved the houses for all the locals in Baudette. When you see the houses on the lake you can tell there is way to much renvenue to be closing in the fall. Now Adrians and Bayveiw Resorts do a great job of getting all of us on and off the lake.

I don't think they have fixed much

More playas bite the dust. Probably at least 5 more by the sounds of the reports. Gotta be at least the many so I can be out too!

Have faith. You can see progress and ice depth from previous years on the Eagle Docks FB page. They said 16 inches a day or so ago. A few years back they had 16 inches only a week before official ice out. 60s to even 70s next weekend. It will be gone before opener. I'm planning on docks and lifts next weekend, but I am in a small protected bay that goes out pretty early.

We need optimism right now. The small bays haven't even opened up yet, which is typically two weeks before the big bays lose their ice. The forecast is in our favor though and I see that it's windy today, also a great sign.

Go to the DMV, see if there's a serial number on it. They should be able to title it

I moved my blind right into the middle of the field after I left this morning. It sticks out like a sore thumb on the landscape. A friend advised me to try this. We'll see if it works later. I hate the way it looks without blending in, but I have to try something else.

For a long time I've been getting pop-ups and error pages where I have to back page. I just thought it was the price of playing in the old sand lot! 🤔
