I buy a new 9 in Rapala every year and sharpen it on a wet stone by the time I get through open water season, cleaning birds with it and hardwater season it's pretty thin and time for a new one. Might actually get a cordless electric soon

That’s a lot!

I’ve considered the cordless Bubba.  I watched them go through piles of fish.  I tried it once with the thin blades and it was a train wreck but I’m sure I’d get used to it.  With a lot of use you’ll be replacing those blades also.  That’s according to the owners of the Bubbas.

Does your wife know you got all that money tied up in fish cutten metal in the shed, when she's got that one dull one in the house? 😆

By the way if I did sharpen the one in the house for her, she'd just cut herself anyway.🥴
