pathfinder resort on st croix

im going to the pathfinder resort this weekend with my cuzin. i have never fished that part of the st. croix and i was wondering what i should be using for my type of presentation. he says they usually catch a ton of fish there. he takes this trip up there once a year and it is the only time he fishes during the year so he doesnt really know alot about fishing and when i tried to figure out what he was using he had no idea. any information will be greatly appreciated.

Where is Pathfinder? Never heard of it.

its up by hinckley. we go to hinckley and go east for about 5 miles and your there

That part of the river holds lots of smallmouth. Most anything should work to catch them, rapalas, spinners, jigs/twistertails. You may catch a bonus walleye or sturgeon on the same presentations.

I have a place there as well,fishing on the river up that way is a good time for sure!
