Summer Resort reccomendations - Oak Is, Flag Is.

Appreciate feedback on resorts on Oak or Flag Island for trip this summer with Son and Father. We've gone several years, since we always fish around the Islands, we are going to try to stay there rather than the Angle mainland. Any advice....?

We stay at Oak Island resort every June. I have been going there for four years, some others in the group have been for 15. It is a wonderful resort with great people. They also have a great location as the wind rarely seems to blow into the bay that time of year. When do you plan on going? Thanks for the info. We usually fish between Oak and Little Oak, Lunatic, Crowduck, 4 Blocks and reefs in between. Usually go for 3-4 days the week of the fourth (only time kid doesn't have baseball). Does Oak Island resort have a little restaurant too?

They don't have a restaurant but can serve pizzas and that kind of stuff. Sunset lodge right next door has one though. I've never been around crowduck or lunatic when it has been warm, I bet they smell even better then!

I will second Baystore Camp, just returned from there. Another great stay with Frank and Laura.
