Sunrise Lake??

Has anybody been out on Sunrise( near Chisago) this winter? I heard the cost went up to 10$. Usually is worth it but, just wondering if anybody has been there yet?

Was out there yesterday for the first time ever. We did ok 3 northerns, 1 decent bass, and 1 nice sunny. Talked with another group who had 8 northens by noon. Our biggest one was 8#'s but that one was returned. Seem to be in less than 10 feet. Beautiful day out there though.

Been up there twice for ice fishing so far. We have had decent luck on northerns, but they have been on the small side. We've had to weed through the sunnies alot more than in the past. Bass are still hitting like the past. And we have not got many crappies.

Ive seen alot of big fish getting taken home from this lake in the past few years. I think people figure if they are gonna pay they're gonna keep everything.

I fished this lake about 10 years ago, it was a "Crappie Heaven" back then. Since this lake has no public access, does it ever get restocked?

Im pretty sure the lake doesnt get restocked since the people charge to get on.

My dad has also told me about how good it was when it was originally opened for fishing.
