WHATS THE SECRET FOR TROUT ON HOLLAND? I SEE LOTS OF PEOPLE BUT I NEVER HAVE MUCH LUCK.

What are you using for bait and where are you fishing on the lake.

Hopefully, all those people you see aren't keeping trout. Trout Season opens on the 17th.

I tried it for a while on Holland last winter. I had no success but saw some small trout caught very near the fishing pier.

Trout suspend around the theromcline and you can catch them on panfish bait (waxies or minners). You'll definitly need a flasher to discover how far off of bottem that they're coming in at.

I have found for me a flasher is no help, they move so fast and they hit so suddenly, I usually use waxies and a small jig

Anderson is right trout swim very quickly and move from one area to the next. Just try to find them looking through the ice they dont swim very far down.
