I need help... Does anyone know a good lake to try in Sherburne?

You could try elk lake in zimmerman. depends on what you are looking for. there are some very nice northerns to be caught during the daylight hours.6-10 lbs. I've landed several in this size in the last few weeks.

Crappie action is ok, but not great. need to get away from all the houses on the two points and fish the outer edges of these villages closer to the center, but not too far away because thats where the deepest holes are.

have seen a few walleye, there is a channel that runs through the lake and if you set up somewhere on the channel tward the center of the lake you might catch a few after sundown.

some sun fish during the day, but you have to find them. I don't usually go after them so I don't know where to look for them.

Ice is 12-16" in most spots right now, be making much more ice this week. There is a public launch at the south end of the lake and I've seen a few small trucks drive from there to the north end, but i'd be careful because of the underwater current from the channel. there is a spill way at the far south end that remains open all year so stay away from that. There is a resort off of county road 1 just south of county road 9 called ridgewood bay, you can drive off there to fish around the north point.
