Anyone fishing the Hastings area? Was wondering about Rebecca, I have seen people out! I must get out there and see myself. Anyone hitting the backwaters down towards Treasure Island?

Did anyone see last weeks issue of Outdoor News? It had a picture with 2 guys from Hastings each holding 2 large crappies. Picture said the fish were caught close to where they live, but didn't mention the lake. Anybody have any idea where they might have caught these fish? They were very nice.

The backwaters where the Vermillion river dumps into the Miss., I have been told, can hold some craps. Then there is Isabell also in the city limits of Hastings.
