My guess is yes. I live on Minnetonka and I am looking out my window right now at 5-6 trucks parked on the ice. They are right next to shore by a landing, but they are over 3-4 feet of water. I was out near this area the other day and there was 8-10 inches of ice. By next week we should have added a couple of inches more. Check local conditions on the 10th before you go out and use common sense.

Minnetonka how much ice will this weather typically make in a day/ week if it stays below 32. I know springs and other factors contribute but typically?

I would definitely check the ice before you go. I know it's suppose to get cold next week but it's suppose to be around 40 on Friday.

I've heard that a inch of ice can be added every day.

I'm sure that on some lakes people will be driving out on the ice by the 10th. Every lake is different when it comes to ice thickness.

Always use extreme caution when driving on the ice even if other people already are driving on the ice.
