access by Excelsior

I'm coming up from Chanhassen and looking for access to Lake Minnetonka by Excelsior. Any ideas?

I believe that most of the pennsula in Excelcior bay is public park. You should be able to walk out from there.

I drove by there a couple of days ago. There are meters there now. Are they enforced? How much are they? Also isn't there any access for a truck once the ice thickens in the area?

the meters are not on in the winter months

and the access is right there in front of the haskels and pizza hut. go right down between the docks

I remember driving on the lake between Haskells and Pizza Hut (by the docks) years ago. It looks like now they have some rocks blocking the access. Was I not looking in the right place or do they move them later?

They will move them once the ice becomes safe to drive on.
