Fished the south end of Chisago last night, caught lots of sunnies and quite a few crappies as well. The problem was they all ran small. Most were between 7 and 9 inches for the crappies and 5-7 for the sunnies. Still a good time with plenty of action.

I was out on South Chisago today during the afternoon in about 12ft of water looking for Crappies and Sunnies. I found 11 inches of ice and managed some nice sunnies along with many smaller ones as well. I did find a pumpkinseed that ran 8 1/2 inches that was really fat as well.I probably caught about 30 total fish.I guess it wasn't too bad considering it was my first ever trip to Chisago lake.

I havn't found 11 inches yet. But they are driving ATV's off of 83.. no cars or trucks yet. and as stated they are getting fish but you have to pick threw the small ones. Good place to bring kids as there has been decent action.
