Hey everyone,
hope you all saw the write up in the GF Herald about FM. It was pretty good!. Jigglestick made the papers!
Also, I skipped this weekend to stay warm, heading up next week for a day. How was the fishing. Any good reports? Or did the fish take a vacation?
johnny

We were up Sat. Kinda slow, 2 of us 3 keepers and a bunch of little one 9 to 12 inches.
Darn clear blue skies and high pressure.

johnny, I fished thur. and fri. in the reef area, thurs. was pretty slow with 2 18" eyes and a 36" pike. friday was pretty good, steady action all day, kept 12 plus a couple nice perch and 2 more pike. Gold buckshot with minnow head seemed to work best.
Good Luck!!

Stiff,
Thanks for the report. Looking forward to heading up on Monday the 3rd. Still trying to figure out where to go. I'm a reef man so far this winter. But, good info could possibly sway my decision. [PoorWordUsage], time for a new license.
Johnny

JohnnyC,
We were fishing out of zipple bay in about 30 feet of water, at about where the fish houses started to thin out alot. I think that the weather was a big factor in the slow fishing. Everything that I seen on the Vex was tight to the bottom. No hit came more than 6 off the bottom.
Scott
