Lake of the woods/Arneson's/Bablers

Does anyone have any info on the roads at Bablers or Arnesons going out to Gull Rock?

Going up there on Thursday to open up the cabin for the weekend for some friends of ours and try to get out and do some fishing Thurs.. If not FRIDAY for sure. (we'll be in an Otter II portable (the old purple beast)set up by a green & white permanent). Stop and say HI if you see us..

I had looked prior to posting this hoping I could get some info

on these two accesses from this last weekend. We normally use Bablers, but didn't see anything out there for that one.

I fished 16 Mile Sat. Road past Gull was fine but there was some new snow that will cause some issues when it blows next. Fishing was slow!!!!

Just got back from up there. Road from Babler's was good past gull rock out to 16 mile. We even got off the roads around gull rock. Got stuck a few times, but if you kept moving and only stopped on good hardpack you were ok. A fishhouse close to us was stuck so a plow truck plowed a path right by us to the house. That was nice becuase we hopped on the path and followed it back to the main drag. PS fishing was good in about 26ft.

Appreciate the input guys.. Will let you know how we did when we get back.... Hopefully have some good luck. If you're up there, swing by and say hi. We'll be in the portable listed above. Will probably be north of Gull Rock on Friday. We're having a small derby going on Saturday. Not sure if it's by Gull or at Zipple yet. Guess we don't find out until Thurs night
