A Big Perch?

If a guy caught a big perch -- how big would it have to be to mount?

Just wondering -- never got any monsters -- but you never know.

14" or better for a mount in my opinion. But it really depends on the story behind the catch. Last year on LOTW I got one that was pushing 13.5" and got better fillets off that than most of the sauger we caught.

My goal is a few 14"+ for the wall although a 12 incher on LOTW is a trophy on a lot of lakes. They are like footballs up there. Up at Arnesen's this weekend there were a couple groups that came in with 30-50 of these giant perch.

Here is a 13.5 I caught on LOTW this year...... Tasted too good to mount....

Here is a 15 incher I got out of a west central MN lake a few years back. Figured I would never get another that big and so far I have been right on!
