Gull River near Pilager

Are river sunfish attracted to the same bait and presentation as lake sunfish? What adjustments should I be prepared to make as I am planning an outing soon.

I fished the river before the cold snap and used regular jigs and waxies, eurolarvae, etc and caught em. Havent been out there recently but they were biting real real light last time. Plenty of them around and had to weed through em. Best of luck.

spring bobber and small 1/64 oz jig with euros, fish 4 feet of bottom and keep inching up slowly with little flickering of rod tip. Most of the sun fish are striking when your bait is at a dead still.
