I was out there all day yesterday and it was a dead sea -1 perch and 1 dink eye. Stopped at 6:15 pm because everyone else was heading off the lake...Do you have any luck at night? Does anyone on Owasso?

Any Ice Reports? I have a spot but too far to walk from North shore... We did real well last Feb but they can't wait all winter to eat. I think we just need a staedy Barometer.

we had a solid 15+ inches of ice in each spot. I am also interested in finding out what late means on owasso.

Hey thanks Guys for the ice report! I have had a hellacious winter at work and need to get back to fishing soon. I know there are some out there that would love to have a job so I am not complaining too much but man has it been nuts.

As for fishing my brother and I headed out to Owasso on a whim on the last day of open walleye last year during the storm and lit up a bunch of little walleye, sad to say they were my first through the ice so I was ecstatic, we ended up with a few 18-20 inch fish so all was not lost. I think Sunday may be my next attempt.

There is the shelf that pretty much runs that whole side of the lake. You can fish deep or shallow. ole

What are you all using on Owasso and how deep are you finding them? Any luck with panfish there? If so, same questions, where, what and how deep?

Anyone going to be out on Saturday? I'll be heading out with my brother-in-law and another friend. We usually set up in the NW bay in 10-20ft but might venture out and try a new spot. I'm mainly interested in burning up some old gas in my snowmobilies so I don't know how much fishing I'll do. Don't worry, I'll try to be curtious and stay away from anyone who's fishing. I'll be in a black fish trap (it's call the Winnie)... stop by and say hi if you wish. It will be nice to be out in some "warm" weather!

Good luck!

Steve

Not much to report. I made it out there... just didn't do any fishing! The North West bay was packed!! I haven't been on Owasso for a few weeks... I've never seen so many people on the NW bay. A couple of friends of mine set up a little further back in the bay for the evening bite and picked up a handful of eye's as the sun set. (Jigging spoons and minnow heads) Nothing very big. They had a lot of lookers on the Vex. It just wasn't an agressive bite.

Does anyone else have anything to report? Anyone from the crowd in the NW bay??

I am heading out tonight, hit the bear last night and nothing so I am hoping that the weather will stay steady and the fish will be biting. I think my buddies shack is in 27 feet or so, and one have any pointers or whats workin?

I am thinking of heading to Owasso tonight after work. I live about 2 mile from the lake but haven't been out there this year yet. Are guys driving all over the lake or are there spots to watch out for. Any tips? I will be in a Pak Shack or Clam 5600 depending on whether anybody comes with or not.

Did make it out on Sat. from 7:00am-10:00am. One walleye and one crappie. Nothing to write home about but was nice to get outside. It was a beautiful morning hole hopping after the cold snap. Seemed like I was marking no matter where I went from 24fow to 8 fow. Nothing suspended though. All on the bottom. They hit on small yellow jigging spoon with a crappie minnow head. Most disapointing was I got started later than planned (2 year old gets up on Sat. but you can't get him up on Monday) and the "spot" I wanted to find from last winter had perms up so I try not to drill withing 30 yards and that was enough to miss my mark.
