Riley Lake in EP

Has anybody been to Riley lately?

I have been there a few times this year and have had little success. I have caught some nice fish but it really seems to be hit or miss. I usually target walleyes, but I enjoy catching anything that bites.

i wanted to spear it, but everytime that i go there and cut a hole, the water looks way to dirty

Is Riley any good for crappies/pike

Both actually, its just kinda hard ot find them sometimes. The DNR says the lake has great pike size and numbers and I've caught crops out there before too.

I think I am going to try riley tomorrow with the kids. I hope I can find a few panfish maybe a northern. This time of year should I try where I found them in summer (at weed edges 10 fow) or out in the deeper water?
