Regarding "Bassin on Tonka" Try Halstead Bay (far west end). Not much traffic and a few good Bass spots, including the grass island and in and around the buoys.

For some odd reason, had a good bass bite at Arcola bridge off of Cty Rd 15. I parked the boat on the west wide of the wooden railroad bridge and caught some nice bass on a fuzzy grub and a leech of all things hehe. 1 was a 19" smile.gif Purely accidental since I was searching for crappie.

Went out yesterday late afternoon and oh my god was it busy. I was expecting it to be busy but not like that, it's been a few years since I have been there on a weekend, not ever again(well maybe one more time). We ended up catching a few bass a nothern, crappie, and a crack rock bass all on plastics. It sure is nice when some guy tries to pass you up in his $30,000 boat and can't do it, especially when I had three guys in my stratos and we had to sit up front to get it on plane!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Good Fishin'...
