California delta / Minnesota fishing

Just a bit of info. let us know how great we have it in Minnesota.

I just came back from a wedding in California and got a chance to spend a day or so fishing the California delta for bass.

Oh yes the area has a reputation for 10+ lbs largemouth.

However, what of the small area I saw(20 miles out of a 1000 miles) the area is not scenic. Riprap on one side and tulles on the other side.

Also every landing(public/private)is a $10 fee per day- this is for the whole state.

also drive time is terrible. For any water the drive is between 30 minutes to 6 hours. the water is few and far between.

therefore all I have to say Is yes the delata is a great place to fish but GOD BLESS MINNESOTA.

So what did you catch for bass?

Hey bass- -o- matic

not much my very first fish was a dink- 12inches.

The biggest fish was only approx 3 lbs.

overall only a half a dozen.
