Try the outfitters up north, that service the Boundary Waters. They are always selling used equipment, including canoes.

I just bought a used souris river quetico 16 for less than $600.00 from an outfitter in ely. If you're willing to put up with some scratches, I would recommend an outfitter for a used kevlar. Mine was $1000 below the new price and it's in good condition.
