What's the biggest house out there now?

Just wondering if anyone noticed any of the bigger houses out on the lakes yet? I have a 8 x 19 house that I keep at a resort and was hoping to get it out tomorrow, but the owner said he couldn't put the house out yet because the houses where getting flooded and he would have to charge us extra to get it out today, because he needs to plow an open spot on the ice for the house. Which I don't get, because he will have to plow and move the house in a couple of days anyway without charging us extra because he said he would have the house out by Friday the 28th. Am I just over thinking this or does it seem like the owner would rather just put the house out when he puts the rest of the house out? Someone tell me I am not crazy.... confused.gif

The house is on the south shore..

maybe its hazard pay...there are a few pockets of slush on the south east side at least. i havent seen any of the larger wheel houses out yet on the main lake. i heard that a lot of the resorts are holding off until the 27th. a portable is a better option right now anyway because the bite is a little spotty so mobility is the key. however it is nice to use a nice warm permanent for base camp.

My buddy has several wheel houses out on the west side about 3 miles out. The biggest out is 24ft tandem wheel house. He also has a 21 ft wheel house out.

Not sure where you are out of, but we have our 24' Ice Castle as well as all our 20' houses out in Isle Bay - if you have a wheel house, you can drive right out onto our road for a $10.00 road fee. If you want a spot plowed out for your house, we'll do that for $20 - you are welcome to leave it as long as you want to - each drive out would be an additional $10 or a seasonal pass for 1 vehicle for $150.

I was out on Popes reef Saturday and saw a permanent 10x24+. It was a small trailer house looking house. I had 12" good ice and no slush on Popes. Lybacks had 2 10x16' houses out there as well as a narrow road.
