27th and 28th to Zipple

Heading up with 4 first timers to Zipple Bay on the 27th. i plan on having us on the ice by 7am or so. What's the most recent reports, depths, shiners or fatheads, gold jigs or glow red. etc. I would really like to make it a good trip for these guys so we'll be able to go up as a group more often. Any help or suggestions?

i was up there last weekend and im heading back there on sunday.we got our limits of walleye between 5 ppl and 4 saugers.we were sitting in 18 ft. we caught on anything just keep the line moving.shiners worked the best for us.

Thanks, that will help. We'll be using portables so we'll stay mobile. They bite better on shiners than on fatheads on L.O.W. for the most part huh?

I been up to LOW several times and have only used fatheads and I've always caught fish. I would bring both.
