Grand Rapids - slushless lakes??

any lakes in the GR area that don't have any slush on them?? looking for some crappie action.........!!

The only two lakes I have been on are Moose lake that had little slush that I have found and Amen Lake that has no slush out to the crappie hole on the lake. I have been keeping up with a plowed road so good ice on the road. Amen lake is a private lake with a access through the old resort at the end of Amen Lake Rd. and they charge $10 to get on the lake. So its a toss up if its worth the money to get on the lake.

Most lakes in the area have slush on them some place on the lake. Checking the ice on an area lake yesterday there were areas with still only 6 inches of ice or a little less! Be careful. Especially on lakes that you are not very familiar with.

mckinny has some decent ice and the fish have been biting there so has prairie
