Any one on Lake Irving?

It's got quite the community just a short drive from shore. Yes, I said Drive! It's the closest lake for my permanent that we can drive on. Any one having any luck? Diana

I was out on Saturday and the fishing was a bit slow. I think this cold front has some affect. There was a 3/4 ton truck and a full size plow turck by me and a few full size pickups on the ice. I measured about 14 inces of ice out from the irvine boro.

Slow walleye bite but Northerns are snapping pretty good, although they are hitting very light also. From the access straight out the ice is from 8-12" down the south end it is close to 14" as Hef said.

The guys on the west side said they are also around 12" but watch where you drive as the ice thickness varies from the currents and discharges.
