Does anybody know if they are having any luck on these 2 lakes? Thinking about heading there this weekend. I know Linwood produces some nice size crappies and walleye.

Linwood used to be a good lake but this winter that lake got fished out big time... All the fish conentrated in one spot and so did the ice houses. The nearby bait store said that it won't be good for awhile now after last winters slaughter... I have had some decent luck on Coon though. There are a few decent Crappies to be found, but a lot of small fish. Walleyes are just about non-exitent, you can't catch them if ya try but you may get them accidentally... I usually get a few decent Northerns and some nice bass when I go

Linwood and Coon have been historically good for panfish & bass, Coon also has good northern population

We were out on Coon Lake on opener. We trolled for Northerns. We ended up catching 5 total, 3 were around 2 lbs. and the other two were hammer handles. We also caught a couple of nice LM Bass while trolling, and also had a crappie go after my spoon trolling. We didn't keep anything, but I do know there are some nice northerns out there. A couple of years ago the hubby had a northern on that snapped his line.

Barely had time and data to post a few random daily pics!  😄   Iffen you’re self banned, how’d ya know? 😉   Sunday - Tuesday hunt near Yankton, SD.  We found ourselves there between two of the big pushes north.  Adults first, pushing the ice line north, slipped through a couple days before we got there and the second juvie push held up by the storm that went through the night we traveled.  Our best day was Monday.  Sunny and warm with a nice south wind.  Day 3 was cool with a stiff northeast wind bringing in another storm.     A select few groups did well with birds coming off Lewis and Clark lake but we weren’t in their path.  We packed up early and hit the road.  We headed north and found them between Brookings and Watertown.  Saw 100’s of thousands at the ice line.

Crazy, about 50 Robin's hit our yard!  Not sure what their eating but none are in any of the neighbors yards around us?  Had to cut video down so it would run.  20250319_175454.mp4

Nope, I can see.  Self banned.  Don't need to argue political and religion all day on a Outdoor forum.  😏
