Fish Toys Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 My nephew stopped in to borrow a spear. He didn’t like his girlfriend’s father’s spear. He’s on maple but I didn’t ask where or ice or snow conditions. Senior moment I guess? He did say smaller pike have been coming in. This is normal tho he’s angling and spearing at the same time and the spoon he had on his teaser got tangled up in his angling line and a HUGE WALLEYE came cruising through the hole. He figured at least 15 lbs? I doubt it. But it was big! I’ll get more info on Wednesday when he comes over. He’s going to make a banner ad for me to put on the spearing forum.
