Heading up to the cabin on Tuesday. Has anyone fished Edwards lately? Hoping to be able to use my 4 wheeler - How much ice is on the lake? How much snow did you get? Any word on the bite? Thanks in advance

I was on Edwards Saturday, ice was about 4" where I was. I saw a perm house or two set up and some portables out quite a ways. I'd be nervous about taking a 4 wheeler out there unless the ice thickens. With all this snow on the ice insulating it, It's probably not going to build ice as fast as I'd like. If the weight of the snow brings water up on top, it's going to be a mess. I'd guess there is 8 to 10 inches of snow in the area.

there was a snowmobile on the south east side with a portable today. I've got my perm on the lake but there is areas that froze late. I wouldn't drive a wheeler on the main lake as the ice really varies out there. There is no slush at this time around the area that I'm at. But good luck and I will be out there too
