Are any of those lakes open and possible to fish from shore,or are they both iced over?thanks

Drove by both this afternoon and both are 95% open. Some shoreline ice is in place, but if you're determined to fish from shore it can be done.

One boat was on the south end of Calhoun at 4pm. I cheered them on when I saw they were holding rods that looked like pool cues.

was the whole area open by the band shell where people usually sucker fish?
