Hey Westcoast Joe...if you were refering to the thread about fishing the Crow River, you misinterpreted the whole thing. They were talking about last year and if it's any good in the spring...duh!!!
The only people I've seen "targeting" out of season fish down at the river are the kids(who should be fined just like adults instead of getting their wrists slapped) and the mexicans(who say "no speaky english")that the CO's tend to look the other way for. Maybe the 2 CO's(yes we have 2) we have here in the Hutchinson area are having problems enforcing the laws, maybe we should hire a few more just to patrol the river here, maybe we should raise license fees to pay for them, maybe... you get the idea.
Just kidding...don't mean to "diss" anyone!
If I want to target walleyes I go to South Dakota where season is open year-round.
