Boy River Kayak/canoe

Has anyone ever had their canoe or kayak down Boy River? I am thinking about putting in at Boy lake (or at hwy 200) and going though Inguadona into Rice and getting out on the Sioux Camp Road. I have paddled plenty around Rice and the surrounding area swamps so I know I can get though in spring. How is it from Boy Lake to Inguadona?

The YMCA campers do it all the time from Cooper lake to the 200 bridge I believe, 200 north also should be a piece of cake. Nice stretch of scenery to be had, good bass fishing along the way, the weeds get a little thick mid summer, so earlier is better. Enjoy!

Sound good! I have always wanted to get to Cooper Lake but the water gets a little too low for my bass boat. My kayak will join me on my next warm weather trip.

Inguadona to Boy is a nice canoe trip. Takes around 3 1/2 to 4 hours (if you put in on the North end of Inguadona). You can get out at 200 or North of 200 on the Tobique road. I have never gone on through to Boy, but it's really close. The current for the most part is not real strong so be prepared to do more than just steer.

I wouldn't suggest putting in on 200 and going to Inguadona though. Against the current would most likely take you a few days. Going up the rapids would be especially difficult.
