Can I ask what size "slabs" you caught on Clearwater were? Not looking for a spot, just a general sense of size in inches. I am trying to decide where to target some spring boat panfishing. You can email me if you want at [email protected], or just post. Thanks!

the crappies in clearwater are better than what we typically land in the metro for average size. I'd say the average is in the 10" class, with fish up to 13" fairly common..

If you want to get to know the lake a little better, you should consider fishing that BJ's bait and tackle crappie tournament on May 3rd. I'm sure you'll pick up some good places to try. you'll see fish in the 1.5 lb. range weighed in at the tournament.
