Lake Susan

Looking to go to Lake Susan tomorrow after work to try for crappies. Anyone have any reports? Are they still driving on it? Someone told me something about an aerator to stay away from.
Any info. would be appreciated.

I go by the lake everyday on my way to and from work and I see them still driving on the lake. Don't think they aerated it this year eiter. Looks like most of the fishing lately has been done on the south side of the lake. East of the landing a ways. Probably in about 15 feet of water since that lake don't get much deeper than that. I believe there is a break there where it jumps up pretty quick. Should be able to see all the holes. For awhile there about 3 weeks ago or so. It was getting fished hard there, they must of been doing pretty good. Also were some people fishing on the North end about 4 weeks ago or so, just bunched up in one area for about 3 weeks str8. but nothin lately. Good luck and post how you do! Looking to fish somewhere with my brother soon.

Thanks for the info Caeser. We ended up going last night and wouldn't you know it, just as we got set up, it started snowing. HARD. We fished for about 2.5 hours and ended up getting 3 crappies and 1 walleye, and both lost one other fish each that we didn't see. Marked a few others on the ole Vex, but couldn't coax them into biting. Talked to one other guy and he only caught 2 and marked a few others as well. Oh well, still a good time and a cool little lake.
