Where did you launch on lower prior if sand point is still closed??

Thanks for the update WWG. Any word on when SP will open? Can't remember who's access that is DNR, Scott cty. or PL? Reply if you know I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Was out yesterday from 11AM till about 7 PM. Found no fish in Candy cove yet. Caught a couple crappies in front of the sportsman's access where I had my iceshack (24 feet of water). Then we moved back to the upper lake and and found fish on the finder in 28 to 30 feet. We got 10 or so nice perch and a couple small crappies......and a handful of cigar walleyes.

Ramp on the upper end has the dock in.
Sand Point is still closed.
Some ice under the small road bridge on the lower lake. Mud bay also still iced. Water temp varied from 37 to 38 on the lower lake to 38 to 39 on the upper lake. Water level is about average.

Sand Point is a DNR access....

I didn't launch on the Lower lake.......

Make sure you're careful for the areas that are normally marked for rock/etc. There are no buoys out yet.
