anyone heading to the sports show this week? im going to be heading out there on thursday. does anyone know if fm has a booth.

Fm does not have a booth there. Some of us will be there. I know Adam Johnson will be there all days, not exactly sure what booth he will be in though.

I will be there all weekend in the Great Ideas booth. Stop in and say hi!!!

Its at the MPLS Convention Center.. it starts today @ 5PM and runs threw Sunday... If anybody is going stop by and say hi.. I'll be in the Mister Twister booth by the Hog Troff!

Exudedude, Mister Twister huh. My dad and I are heading to the show on sunday. I'll have to stop by and see you. I have all of next week off. I plan on doing a lot of fishing. I'll get a hold of you. See you then.

I'm going to be there on Wednesday.

Fishing Minnesota didn't get into the show this year. Hopefully there will be room for us next year.

WOW, they really outdid themselves this year... they have the WHOLE CONVENTION center open up this year. .its huge... you can stand at one wall and almost not see the far wall.. I have no idea how they would not have room for FM!!!

Dude,

Back in Sep, when we got our booth it was only one of 2 left. They book up years in advance. I would almost guarantee that FM will be there next year

I will be going this weekend. Anyone know where the first aid stations are set up? May need to know in advance in case I start to hyperventilate and convulse, because I am not out in my boat...... grin.gif

      I think it all helps to create motion and confusion to keep their attention away from the blinds.  The hurricanes seemed pretty important though.  6 of them per spread and moved around dependent on wind direction.  Some tall silo socks mixed in with them too.  Kill hole in the middle with a few decoys clustered over the e call.  That was about 25 yards from the blinds.  7-8 batteries to run everything.  2000 decoys per spread.   I wasn’t the shot caller.  We were taking them at about 40 yards on average but I believe we could’ve gotten a lot of them feet down.  We all remember the single Ross’ that broke off from a group of snows hovering at 100+ yards and took the elevator all the way down to its demise.  The shot was called just before it lit but we were all sure if it was left alone, the audience above would’ve joined.  It was mesmerizing to watch to watch how much they work a spread without flapping their wings much.   These pics were waiting for them to come down closer.  They did.

      Never hunted conservation season. Actually get birds feet down or longer shots? I've been running battery operated flappers but does the rotary machine really help?
