Just got back from LOW last night. Fishing was pretty good. A lot of walleyes and saugers. The four of us caught around 100 per day. I caught a 26 and 28 incher. A lot of fish were around 13-14 inches but several 20-23 inchers were caught. A few jumbo perch and tulibee as well. Most action came from 8-10am and 1-3pm. Pretty cold up there. 32 feet of water. I'll have some pictures in a few weeks.

Good Fishin, Matt.

I know that this LOW stuff belongs in it's own topic, but I need to ask you a quick question Matt. We'll be heading up in a couple weeks and I was wondering what your hot lures/baits were... Thanks!!

Glow perch colored Buckshot rattle spoons, gold swimming rapalas, green and blue glow frosties, and plain hooks. Some of the biggest fish came off of a plain hook and sinker. I used just a minnow head on the swimming rapalas and spoons. The new techno glow colors worked well. Drop me an e-mail and I can get you some more details if you want.

Good Fishin, Matt.

Hey Matt,

Where did you stay? I'm going to Randalls March 7th and 8th. Hope we do as well as you did.

I stayed at Adrian's Resort near Baudette. Great service and great people. The fish houses closer to the plowed roads produced better then the rest because of the traffic and moving water when trucks went by. Also, the plaowed roads were partly glare ice so light penetrated easier attracting fish. All of the best reports up there were coming from houses that were close to the plowed roads. Just something to keep in mind.

Good Fishin, Matt.

Oh yeah, I fished out of the Guitar house and my other group fished out of Smiley.

Thanks Matt,

I think Adrians is in the same area as Randall's, Cyrus, etc. I will try to get a house close to the road, so I can try your method.
