DL area outlooked for strong weekend storms, Iowa tornadoes

At this time, the west central MN area is outlooked for severe weather potential Friday and Saturday. We'll see if it shifts with time.

We are cleaning up here from last weekend. Some copter shots for you. Notice the convergent winds in the corn into the center of the tornado. Easy to spot on radar, so no injuries or deaths despite 22 mile ground track and winds of 130+.

Thanks for the weather update. I bought my wife a new sled helmet for her birthday (yesterday). I know it wasn't very romantic but she hates getting fogged up when we ride the sleds. She also got a pink Vikes jersey from the boys a candle and some flowers.

I hope she can use the sled a little more than last year.

Is the snow still looking ok-ish?
