i kinda know the river by boat but lately my wife and daughter have been wanting to fish.the only problem is they want to shore fish.does anyone know a good shore spot for crappie or northens with easy access from shore..

Tinman.... The fishing pier at Lake city is a good spot for pan fish.... My kids go down there all the time and have luck with the pan fish... There is also a creek about 5-6 miles towards Wabasha (from Lake City) that has pretty easy access to the lake and a shallow flat that Northerns have been taken from. I think its called Maple Springs or something like that. There is a rocky point in that area that I think you can also get to pretty easily that held some fish. We fished that area and picked up some crappie and bass.... I'm a newbie to the area but have been having luck finding the fish... Good Luck and Enjoy
