direction of wind on goose decoy placement

do you face all your decoys in the same direction or vary them ? I have allways faced them 45 degrees to the wind helter skelter. My partner feels they should all face the same direction and never straight into the wind .

All different directions. Look at a flock of geese in the field, are they all facing the same direction? I don't think so. UNLESS, it is very cold and windy then MOST will face into the wind when resting.

I second that answer. Altough if I have a dozen dekes out 4 or 5 will face the same general direction but not exactly lined up together. About the same percentage when I have out a larger to giant spread later in the season.
