Gluttony is a deadly sin

Pontooning at my parent's place on Ossiwinamakee (just south of the Whitefish chain) and the typical curious fisherman in me had to go look at what was floating belly up about 100 yards from shore. Glad I had the camera. Not sure why the one thought the other would fit. One was about 2lbs and the other was just a little larger. They were STUCK as my Dad accidentally ran into them trying to get close and they stayed together. Probably a once in a lifetime capture on digital.

Cool pics, I have seen larger ones eat smaller ones, but I think that is the first picture I have seen of two of about equal size go after each other.

i've seen pics of bass doing this, and the explanation given was that they were likely going after the same bait. with northern, i'd say this would likely be the case. they tend to grab from the side, not head first.

sweet pics cool.gif might make a cool avitar
