Plucking the perch on big pine

found a nice spot for decent size perch, i was surprised, i was fishing for northerns, ended up in 5-6ft of water and didnt wanna move for a 3rd time deeper so i stayed and got a missed one on a decoy and happened to look down the hole when it was slow and saw a bunch of pretty big perch, instantly pulled up a line and grabbed my other rod with a leader and threw a green buckshot on and started nailing the perch, was a blast!! just plucking them out, i also noticed if i let the buckshot hit the bottom and site there for a second bigger size perch would come hit it.i also had a fake white grub worm on one of the trebles....i got a pack of fake rubber corn, red grub, white grub, $1 per pack of 100 off ebay. good $3 investment for pan fish i was checking the winds and it said gusts upto 17 then checked again and saw 22 then it got windy and checked it said upto 28 and i got the hell off the ice before i was blown away i have been in gusts upto 36mph in my eskimo 9416i and the one side kept popping, i had a spike in the ice with a bunjiee cord but it kept poping in i dont eat fish so i always let the fish go i catch,(unless im with somone that wants them) plus then there will be more for next year,,,, just think about how fishing was 50 years. im not from around here but seems like alot of people keep fish, and theres alot of boats during the summer and ice houses during the winter, im surprised theres still fish in the lakes, they must be making babys like crazy lol
