There are still a few anglers walking out on area lakes to find panfish starting to move shallow. Buffalo area, several anglers are still fishing in deeper water for crappies, while some are starting to fish in 10ft depths. Lake accesses are beginning break down quickly, it's time to get the PFD's out for this late ice. If the ice looks dark gary, it may NOT be safe. Best wait for ice out, start looking for small lakes that will open sooner.
