Nite bite or Morning bite

Friends tell me that the pond is nite lake is this true

Your friends obviously aren't familiar with ML. It's a 24hr lake - seriously. My best fishing has been at high noon in May-July. Night fishing is good too when legal.

If your fishing deeper than about 19fow water it really doesn't matter what time of day it is unless there something going on with the moon phases otherwise it really is 24hr lake.

I fished from about 8-5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of last week. The bite was better for me closer to eight than five. This was predominantly on the mud with some south end rocks/gravel thrown in.
